return process

if you would like to return your studio duc purchase please follow the below steps:

1. within 30 days of receipt, contact us to activate your return (email hello@ducducnyc.com or call 212.226.1868 x304).
2. we will provide you with a pre-paid ups return label.
3. contact ups to collect your return (in its original packaging) at https://wwwapps.ups.com/pickup/schedule?loc=en_us# or call 1-800-pick-ups. your return must be collected by ups within 5 days of receiving your return label.
4. upon receipt of your return, we will assess the returned item and confirm your refund (less original shipping costs). returns that are not due to damage or manufacturing defect will be subject to a 15% restocking fee of the original purchase price.

damaged items

we strive for perfection, but if your item arrives damaged:

• within 7 days of receipt, contact us to notify us of the damage

we have real people waiting to put a band-aid on that boo-boo and send you on your way with lollipop in hand. 

restrictions/exceptions

• original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• we request that you return your items in the original packaging. if this is not possible, the customer is responsible for arranging equivalent packaging.
• promotional or sale items are final sale. no return or exchange will be accepted.
• we reserve the right to accept or reject a return based on the condition of the returned item(s) and/or account history.
• all items will be inspected upon return. a restocking fee will apply, starting at 25% of the purchase price, for any items not returned in good condition or outside the stated time frame.
• our product range includes select items that cannot be disassembled. these items are clearly marked on the website and we cannot accept return for these particular items once they are assembled after delivery.

we in no case want you to be dissatisfied with our product. if you find a manufacturing defect, please call us and we will fix the problem. if you are not happy with your purchase for other reasons, please let us know why. while we can’t promise that all returns will be accepted, we want to work with you to determine the best solution. we stand behind all our products and will accept any product for exchange, credit, or refund if it is defective or does not conform to your order. we ask that your return be complete and in like new condition with all original packaging. items returned incomplete may be assessed a restocking fee. because all of our products are custom made, once your order is placed, cancellations will not be permitted.
